When “The Day” Finally Arrives

There’s a point in every warrior’s life when everything you’ve worked for finally comes to one big event, one big launch, one big step forward.

Along the way you will doubt yourself.
You will get tired.
You will be tempted to turn back.

The difference between winners and losers is their mindset.  Losers turn back.

Winners just need more time.

After decades of building her practice like a true 8pm Warrior, my friend Claudia Anderson just launched her new dental office today in Park Ridge, IL.  I couldn’t be more proud for her.

This is what 8pm Warriors live for, right?

Don’t turn back tonight,

  1. I agree with you completely, Aaron. One of my former mentors put the sentiment this way: “He who holds on longest, wins!” I have often felt like a bull dog, holding onto my dreams, when others have let go long ago.

I share your pride in Claudia, for holding on to her dream and making it a reality!

    1. I like that quote even better.  Good one.

Yes, Claudia is special.  I have a feeling you have a great story as well.  Sometime we’ll have to go more in-depth with your story.  I am very intrigued.

  2. What a HUGE honor you have given to me @AaronBiebert:disqus …I am SO touched to be “featured”as a person who is experiencing “The Day”…thank you SO much!!.  You know how much I love the way you write and so, there I was early this morning reading your latest blog post and I am thinking “BOY, is he really hitting it on the head…it’s as if Aaron has been reading my mind about making this move”…and then I saw MY NAME!!  I’m pretty emotionally labile right now and I have to admit, I was moved to tears.  Thank you Aaron…you are a true friend and your kindness and unconditional encouragement are very special to me.

    1. Claudia, I am so glad we met.  You are an inspiration.  The honor was all mine.  I can feel what you’re going through all the way to my core.
After what you’ve been through, I think you deserve a whole book.  Hopefully this blog post suffices for now.

Glad I could help.  I’ll be sending everyone I know in the Chicagoland area to you.  :-)

  3. Hear, hear! :-) “Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplacable spark. In the hopeless swamps of the not quite, the not yet, and the not at all, do not let the hero in your soul perish and leave only frustration for the life you deserved, but never have been able to reach. The world you desire can be won, it exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.” –Ayn Rand (John Galt), Atlas Shrugged
