Each one of us is unique. No two 8pm Warriors are the exact same size.
I’ve worn a one-size-fits-all hospital gown in the past and it wasn’t a great fit. Probably not the first choice of apparel for many people…
Many other “free” things only come in one size too:
- Grocery bags
- Baseball cap giveaways
- Drink trays at the theater or drive thru
- And many others
However, I have yet to find a “one size fits all” life.
The problem with “one size fits all” is that it usually means “this size fits no one”. In the end, no one really wants it. It doesn’t fit.
The same goes for life.
So then why do so many people base their happiness on how well their life compares to others? Why do some parents drag their children down the same path? Why do some children strive to be just like others? It doesn’t work.
No matter what anyone says, you must follow your own heart, do what you love, chase your dreams, and find the one life that fits you.
We only get one, so it better fit right.
Have a great night!
Aaron@Biebert
PS. The same goes for business….make something that fits. It’s what people crave. In this era, there’s no excuse.

Well said Lead Warrior!
Thanks Cheri!
As my daughters are choosing their life’s work, this is the message I want them to hear. You said it so well. I will send it their way. Thanks.
Todd, I’m glad you found it helpful. Hopefully your daughters find what they love and they go for it. That’s what I want for my kids too.
Thanks for the comment Todd!
Good post Aaron, one size rarely fits anyone
Thanks for the encouragement Sarah!
You gotta dare to be different! Happiness comes from being who you are, not from imitating others. Even if you admire or respect someone else, you should focus on being the best you that you can be.
I totally agree. I think it stars in the teen years with idolizing people we admire. The key is to get away from that as soon as possible and learn lessons from people, not follow them 100%.
Great post! I have always said one size fits all = one size fits no one. Great to see it applied to life and achievements. When you are doing the things that give you joy- that’s the best fit of all!
“So then why do so many people base their happiness on how well their life compares to others?”
It’s the classic story of trying to keep up with the Joneses.
You spend money you don’t have, on stuff you don’t need, trying to impress people that you don’t even like. But if you truly understood how miserable the Joneses were, you would probably be a lot more thankful for the life you have now.
Aaron as a mom of 8 yes you read that rite.
I know what you mean.
Our 14 year old and 16 year old daughters want
to be singers and I do what I can to encouraging them.
All so I tried to get threw my 14 year old daughter it
doesn’t matter what you sound like as long as you do your
best and don’t listen to the popular kids in school about
how she sounds or what she wears. As long as she is herself
and it comes from her heart.
Well as a parent you all was wonder if your getting threw to
your children if they really understand what your saying.
Well the other day I was so proud of our 14 yr old daughter
because she wrote a note on Face book to ever one who has
supported and encourage her to follow her dreams and do her
best and try not worry about what the others say.
Thanks for a great post
