Do You Want to Change the World?

Declare it.

If you really want to change the world, you must do it publicly.

Your closest friends may laugh.  Your family will think you’re crazy.  Your team members might roll their eyes.

Trust me.

Many will call you crazy, but along the way you’ll attract fellow Warriors who are waiting to follow someone with a vision.

People are waiting for you.

Let them know.

I want to change the world and after Steve Jobs died, this video brought tears to my eyes.  He narrated it.

I want so badly to use my one life for something really big.  That might make me crazy.

So be it.

Have a crazy night,

  1. Wow this is so inspiring. I really like the idea about making it public. After all, you are contributing to the human experience? Should it not be public by default? It takes a lot of courage and even a proclamation like that I believe is already pushing our human collective forward. Thank you.

    1. Thanks Dan!

I’m not sure how you can change the world without it knowing, but some people seem to try. Others wait to make it public until they believe they can do it. Problem is that usually doesn’t work.

      I appreciate your comment.

  2. such a great video! and inspiring post too. my heart echos your line, “I want so badly to use my one life for something really big”. I just moved to New Zealand 3 weeks ago. Let the crazy begin!

    1. I wasn’t sure how that line would come off. I thought it might seem desperate.

In the end, that’s good. I am desperate to make it happen. There was no other way to write it and I appreciate your heart echoing that feeling.

Good luck in NZ. It’s a beautiful country.

      Let the crazy begin indeed!

  3. Aaron,

This is fantastic! Right before I read this I was watching a series by Russel Shaw on Vimeo called ‘My Presence Matters’ – here is a link but to one but you will find several more videos. Taking the tools, gifts, and passion that these individuals already possess – they are transforming their community.

    Complete amazing.

    Let us be the change!
